I had never been to a San Francisco Chiropractor in my life until the last year. I had always believed that they could not help me. My perception of Chiropractors was that they were nothing but bone crackers. I had my back injured years ago in a horseback riding accident. I decided to try one of those select comfort memory foam beds which helped a lot but I still had throbbing back pain so about a year ago I decided to go into the chiropractor and see what they could do for me. This man used a tool to push my vertebrae’s back inline at the first visit causing me to be sore for a couple days. Over the course of a month and about a visit a week this man cracked my back and twisted me up like a pretzel. What a miracle worker he is. I am now back pain free and my opinion of Chiropractors has changed forever.

My experience with chiropractic care has been truly miraculous. When I was a teenager, I was involved in a severe car accident leaving me with a fractured spine. Since then, I have had constant pain and difficulty sleeping. Traditional pain relief methods were out of the question, as I have a high pressure job that requires a clear head. Miserable and frustrated, I decided to take a chance on visiting a Portland chiropractor—it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My, now infrequent, adjustments have given me my life back and I am once again able to sleep and live an active lifestyle.

Wine gift baskets are a great idea for folks who are difficult to buy for and enjoy the finer things in life. They’re a great chance to make a memorable gift, especially if they have a suitable accessory, like a quality corkscrew, packaged inside the basket. Smaller vineyards can use them effectively to get their signature product out in gifting season, while remaining an economical gift. Larger vineyards can use them to showcase their entire catalog of products with a sampler bundle. Since the vast majority of wine bottles are glass, the gift giver and recipient have to be careful.

If you are looking for a unique gift there is a need for a fine wine basket. When you are purchasing them you should look for the age of the wine and the type of wine that is offered in the basket. If you are looking for a very fine wine than you should be prepared to pay a little bit more. Of course, fine wine comes at a cost. A good wine baskets choice would come with great cheese and/or some sort of nice fruit that will compliment the basket. If you prefer the less expensive basket you still deserve a fine quality wine. Therefore, it may be wise to stick with a wine that you have tasted in the past.

My experience has been mostly with a wine company called Barclay’s that does a great job at picking out great tasting wines. They don’t make you join the club, but instead offer a “member’s only” list of exclusive wines that they invite you to once you make a purchase with them. So in that sense it becomes a wine club of the month, but there is no “membership” dues, unless you think spending $25 to $50 dollars for an awesome bottle of wine expensive. So the idea of the site seems to be to get you in on one of there lower priced items via either a case that costs about $10 or less per wine, then invite you to join the exclusive club where you will still get the occasional rockstar deal and also daily emails with daily deals, but then the wines are of higher grade and price.

I enjoy receiving wine gifts from family and close friends. It means a lot to me as they are wrapped beautifully. I particularly like the wine gift choices that contain Shiraz as this is my favorite wine. I also like white wine such as Chardonnay. I also like the items that accompany the wine in gift sets. I received one for my birthday that had two beautiful bottles of Shiraz from South Africa. I particularly like imported wine from all over the world. The gift pack also came with beautiful cheese that complimented the wine. I hope to receive a few wine gifts this year to make Christmas even more exciting.

My wife and I have been a members of the wine of the month club for a number of years. A relative of ours was a member and recommended the club to us. I really enjoy being a member as there are a vast number of benefits. I always look forward to receiving a popular wine each month. I love tasting new wines. I have a rather large selection of wine at home. By being a member of a wine club has allowed me to buy wine at a very reasonable cost. It is possible to purchase wine from all over the world for a fraction of the cost.

I received a Wine of the Month subscription as a gift a few years ago. The baskets arrived in the middle of the month and they were very pretty and they came with two wine stems with picture of the grapes that were used to make the wine printed on the glass. It was nice to be able to sample wines that I might otherwise not have tried, and I got to keep the glasses which are very pretty. In my birthday month, I also received a package of the glass charms which was very nice. It was a great gift!

Let’s face it, if you’re anything like me you think the idea of drinking wine means hanging out with a bunch of old white men talking about golf and making up stories about flavors that they really can’t taste.
I found a couple of pretty cool wine clubs recently, each of which comes with not only a lower age range of its members, but also a lower price point for its wines. Personally, I think finding a decent $100 bottle of wine has to be pretty easy right?

Does your back hurt?
Mine does quite a bit. I have a compressed disk, but I also sit in an office chair, in this little small cubicle all day long. It’s annoying, but I shouldn’t be in pain for my 30k a year job, right?
That’s why I take the subway and visit a Manhattan Chiropractor whenver I have the chance. It’s one good aspect of my job, my deductible for medical care sucks, but at least we have chiropractic care included!

Are you thinking of trying something fun and social after the new year? I realize we’re all incredibly busy around the holidays, heck my wife and I will have at least 3 work parties to attend. In January, would you think about joining a wine club?
Personally, while I enjoy the online wine clubs which ship wine directly to my front door, I’m also really content to spend some time drinking wine with friends and even family at in person wine clubs. These in person wine clubs are usually really fun if they stick to one or two types of wine per event (say Napa Valley Chardonnay as an example) which allows you to really tell the difference from one winemaker and vineyard to another.

It’s relatively easy to find reviews online of things like hotels and cars, but try and find a review of a gift basket and it is a virtual wasteland.
Gift Basket Reviews don’t have to be complicated, in fact a top 3 or a top 5 list is usually enough for me to feel comfortable making a purchase, but more is always appreciated.
In the gift baskets I purchase, I usually want to see local products which aren’t in every grocery store known to man. What’s the fun in that and why should I pay for shipping if I don’t have to?

I mentioned wine gifts in my previous post, but those can take any number of forms. I also tend to buy a fair amount of wine gift baskets around the holidays for my friends and family who count as foodies. I’m probably not in that category, but I like to buy what they want.
Getting a wine gift basket doesn’t have to be complicated, but you have to remember to take a few minutes and research the products which are included in the gift basket. Are they available locally? If they are, you’re probably better off finding something else since your gift receiver could easily purchase those products themself.

It seems that every year the same few things happen to me around the holidays.
1) I spend too much money on my kids and on my nieces/nephews.
2) I suck at buying gifts for adults.
One way to fix that of course is to buy wine gifts. Wine gifts are a nice choice for me for a few reasons. To start, I can order online any time starting in November and all the way almost until Christmas Day. It’s convenient and I don’t actually have to pick the wine myself which is a welcomed relief. I hate shopping for anything other than toys.
